Job Description:

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing overall kitchen and food service operations to ensure efficient service, consistent food quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

•   Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and support overall restaurant service delivery

•   Plan, organize, and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality

•   Supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff performance to ensure smooth daily operations

•   Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of kitchen and service staff

•   Manage inventory, control food costs, and monitor operational expenses to support business performance

•   Monitor sales trends and contribute to adjustments in menu offerings and pricing where appropriate

•   Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

•   Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues in a timely and professional manner

•   Coordinate with suppliers and assist in managing purchasing and supply arrangements

•   Support business operations by assisting with planning for events, catering, or special service requirements

Job Requirements:

•   Completion of a college program in hospitality, food service management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the food service industry

•   2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including previous supervisory or management experience

•   Good understanding of restaurant operations, including both kitchen and front-of-house service

•   Experience supervising staff, preparing schedules, and supporting team performance

•   Ability to manage inventory and assist with cost control and daily operations

•   Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to support and guide a team

•   Ability to handle customer concerns and maintain consistent service standards

•   Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•   Relevant certifications are considered an asset
