Job Description:

D M Fabrication Ltd located at Unit 67-69, Bldg. E 3347 262 Street Aldergrove BC V4W 3V9 is looking to hire Mechanical Engineer Technologist, who will perform following job duties.

·       Download and open all SolidWorks drawings, and specifications for machines and components, power transmission systems, process piping, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, open and convert to dwg or pdf for pricing by estimating staff.

·       Position includes providing designs and drawings as required for the cutting of parts on CNC machinery.

·       Prepare cost and material estimates, project schedules and reports.

·       Prepare shop drawings for use by the shop floor, engineers, and customers to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.

·       Be responsible for the maintenance of the Waterjet machine along with the other operators. Conduct tests and analyses of machines, components and materials to determine their performance, strength, response to stress and other characteristics.

·       Required to go on site with fabricators to measure, sketch, design, and draw parts as required. Make drawings for Architects, Engineers, and then Fabricators to suit installation. DM Fabrication will be providing a team to ensure ease of build and install.

·       Be co-responsible for monthly payroll and required to maintain CWB certification.

·       Maintain quality procedures as products move through the shop, quality check with a signature on jobs, prepare standards and schedules and supervise mechanical maintenance programs or operations of mechanical plants.
